That's hard to hear Felix! What on earth did you do? Well wishes heading your way, as usual. I think it's the moto gods enacting their vengeance for you letting that poor bike sit for so long... :p

Thanks peeps, out of hospital now, not that much fun. Basically pretty common back injury, disc is bulging and pushing on the nerves. It's short of breaking but if I injury it like this again, I'll be in for surgery and i'll have my lower spine fused.

Going to be a slow few weeks recovery, lots of movies and exercise... no work is gonna make for a broke Felix :( not the start to the drag racing season I was looking for.

OPSM at Indooroopilly can kiss my arse!

Go in, order prescription Oakleys. Get told it will take 1.5 weeks. Sounds too good to be true so I ask again to make certain. Yep 1.5 weeks, cool!

Call up 1.5 weeks later and get told Oakley's take 3 weeks. Sure, I figured as much so why did I get told 1.5 weeks? Oakleys take 3 weeks. I know that, I'm not angry about the wait I'm angry about being lied to. Oakleys take 3 weeks. *Le sigh* hang up phone.

Call up at the 3 week mark. Dearest OPSM, where art thou sunglasses? Oh, it seems that we have lost your order. I don't understand, I watched you do the order. It has been lost in 'cyberspace' LOL. Don't fucken LOL at me lady! It will be another 10 days, so sorry. *Le sigh* hang up phone.

3 weeks and 9 days, get a text saying sunnies are ready. Friggin finally! Ride bike to store during my lunch break. Hey here are your sweet Oakleys. Hells yes they are sweet *puts sunnies on, left eye completely blurry* RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE! Oh let me just look at your script, *script completely wrong for left eye* LOL whoops. That's just going to be another 10 days LOLOLOLOL. At this point I leave the store for fear of saying something overly rude.

Ride to Suzuki to grab new headgasket for Gixxerkart, get phone call from OPSM. Hi, we are super sorry about the screw up so we're going to offer you a refund. Holy cow a full refund? That's super awesome. *ahem* a 10% refund. You... what.. how..? No, just no. When I come to get my sunnies we will talk compensation. *Le sigh* hangs up phone.

Leave bike store, rain comes. Rain keeps coming. Rain completely covers me. Basically paddling my bike back to work. Lucky for this nerd I have spare clothes at work.

Which brings me to now. I have to wait, again, for my sunnies. I am going to attempt to get a free pair of regular specs as compennsation. The 10% refund they offered amounts to about $60. The lunchbreak I wasted cost more then that. I am amazingly fed up with them but there's nothing else I can do.

I will be talking to the manager when I finally grab my sunnies (if they are even correct this time) and will be asking for some sort of summary of the events. I want to know exactly how all this happened and why. It won't change anything but it will give them a chance to see just how much they screwed up. Which will hopefully mean this won't happen to anybody else.

Oh and because all my gear is completely wet I will be catching the bus home. What is it about Wednesdays?

Ahhh, no just a little slow on the uptake!! :p
I thought it was all due to his Supersport riding position. Punishment for selling the 250R!!!
