Actually having a job this summer made me realize two things:
I need a mesh jacket and I have the money to get one!

I ordered this one on Monday, hope it gets here today or tomorrow:

Power Trip Women's San Jose Mesh Jacket from new enough. It's a close out of a discontinued model, but for a $100 discount and being a female cut, I couldn't pass it up.

Thought I'd pass on the link, in case anyone else needs a decent mesh jacket for the summer.

That looks like a great jacket, and newenough always has the best deals! I've been wanting to get a mesh jacket or a perforated leather jacket for the summer, just don't have the money right now (lol, that's what happens when you don't have a job!). Congrats, and you'll have to post up pics when you get the jacket, so us ladies can see how it fits and looks!

Just got it today, priority mail came in 2 days so that saved me about $10 over fedex 2nd day.

I like it, it's a bit shorter than the men's 1st Gear that I have, so it sits just above my belt line, other than that, it seems like a nice jacket.

I'll take some pics once I have a camera (the cat decided to drop test my current digicam).

The Bon is a NW thing but is now Macys and it is not the same. I miss the Bon Marche.

re: jackets for woman
It is hard to get the local dealers to carry many womans Styles and It is hit or miss for me ordering on line. My old Joe Rocket is 10 + old and only just now starting to have zipper problems.
So I am on a quest for a full length jacket and maybe a short one too that is not mesh.
Hard to fit - let's say big shoulders and short arms. Icon has one I like but not in Kawa green

My jacket is actually a little bit longer (at least it seems like it to me) than most women's jackets. It's this Alpinestar one in black, and I really like it, but it's getting pretty darn warm for the summertime.

Tried that on today. I love alpine star stuff but it never fits me. They cut too tight the whole dang line. Even the leathers. Thanks for helping though . Thinking about a first gear or a cortech- . I hate shopping for clothes too. yikes. Ride was awesome today. Complete with Breakfast on the outdoor patio of our fav restraunt. Followed by the Hulk movie. which being an old school hulk fan was a great movie. Back to work tomorrow... sigh

they can turn into a CR twostroke on you in a second. Hope you get sun. I ordered the Cortech LRX on line I am looking for the 2007 model and it is discontinued. I don't like the look of the 2008. I hope they have it in stock still. It said it did. I only found one place with a black one. I will let you know if I like it.

Haha, yeah, those horses...not always as predictable as a bike, lol. I rode Rue (my friend's horse) again yesterday, and we had to go back to kindergarten, lol, lots of walking and stopping, etc. He did really well though. I really miss training horses!!

Can't wait to see that new jacket, I've liked how those have looked in the pics from motorcycle stores!

Good for you and for her! Nothing irks me more than when I see people not wearing gear, lol, it actually makes me furious! I don't know why, it's not my body that would be torn up in a wreck...but the sheer stupidity of people doing unsafe things really gets to me...
