I went with white/silver reflective rim stripes. It looks ok I guess, but now I'm kinda thinking RED. Hmmm decisions, decisions...... what do you think ?

lookin good! I'd keep it. My personal preference is white on black and just got my white reflective rim tape in the mail.
Was it difficult to apply? How long did it take? I have no stand so wasn't really sure if it was going to be a pain or not.

I don't have a stand either. I had to put one strip on then roll it. Just take your time. I used this video as a guide.

Keep the white. it looks sick.

Or you could use paint thinner and make the outer lip silver.

i have a black bike also. i put on dark red reflective today and i love it. having said that, those white strips look pretty good too. not as common a combination.

i think if i hadn't gone with the dark red, i think i would have gone with green.

im diggin the white. it gives more contrast to the bike. its a nice highlight

Nice with the red!! I put my red ones on today and I did such a bad job...... I HATE IT AHGGGG. I couldnt start the tape off right where it should be and I couldnt keep the tape going steady due to not jacking the bike up. 3 sides look presentable but one looks so bad (up close) so ANYONE about to do it.. JACK YOUR BIKE UP AND TAKE YOUR TIME!!!!! I don't want to spend another $15 on more rim tape only to redo one side of one wheel. SO if anyone has enough tape for one side of one wheel could you mail it to me?? I could send a couple bucks but you could just be nice!!

I have found it to be a major pain in the butt. I wish there were an easier was to do it. I'm such a perfectionist, it drives me nuts !! For the most part I have settled on red although green is tempting.

There is.Try to find one from 3M they come with a applicator.Take about 1 minute to apply one side.My record was 30 second each.

The rimstripes I bought had exactly the same applicator as the one eric bought. Couldn't have been easier. The results are perfect every time.

look at my bike i got my red rim stripes see how it looks . . . its under picture time n see if u like it i like it
