A lot of my hobbies I try to buy brand new because I like breaking that item in or hate to repair, replace, or fix items I have bought used.
Such as ....
1. Guns... I'm funny bout buying a used gun unless I know everything about it origins and functionality.
2. Guitars and bass guitars cause I like to set them up exactly how I want it and not worry about how the other person treated the instrument.
3. Computers... Cause you never know what the last person who owned it could have stored on there.

Used stuff I would buy....
1. House
2. Electronics like video games, blu ray players, Televisions
3. Tools
