I ride a 2006 zx-10r and it is about time for a new rear tire. Any recommendations from personal experience? I'm looking for a good all-around tire that will serve me well on the drag strip as well as the street, and a tire that will last for a little while without paying a fortune. All input is welcome, except Earls input is not welcome.... Lol

trey I ride a 2013 zx10 with the pilot power 2ct because I curve and love em but if you are going to drag race I've used a few and the shenko drag/ street tire is best bang for the buck. However a great combination tire is the regular pilot power. Cheap an sticky. Not to mention it has less tread cuts so there will be less flex. Be sure to get a lower profile to take off some of the round to get yourself a bigger traction patch. It's only half a fingers worth but ever bit helps. Hope this helps bud

Thanks for the advice. It has a Shenko on the rear right now and a Pilot on the front. Haven't had any problems with the Shenko, just didn't know if there was anything else out there that would better fit my riding style. The previous owner said he bought the Shenko tire right at $100, which isn't too bad in my opinion.
