so i was roaming the internet an landed on kawasakis site, but i chose french instead of english, i didn't understand anything but i saw i gorgeous ninja 400r. what is that not in the us?!?! they killed the 500 of, which made me sad, but the 650r took its place, but a 400r sounds like the perfect all around commuter bike for a smaller or normal sized person, i know it would probably be a tight fit for a guy like me but i would have loved that for a first bike, i love that my 500 is forgiving and not too much bike for a beginner, but has power behind it to keep me content even past the beginning riding stages. i think this 400 would probably do the same, cause now you got the gap from the 250r to the 650r. me being a larger/taller(6'3") rider i don't fit on a 250 but i didn't want to jump onto a 650 right away, i would have liked this sportier option, since the 500 looks out dated.

anyway i never new there was a 400, that would be cool to see in the US in my opinion, but maybe not i could be crazy, anyone on here have a 400r?

There are a few 400's lurking around, but they don't post on here all thaat much.
Sorry to burst your bubble CZ, but the 400 is only available in Canada, and to be brutally honest it is just the current 2011 650R with a sleeved engine to bring the cc's down to 400. Apart from that and no doubt some tweaking in the ecu, the 400 and 650R are identical in everyway.
Same weight, same fairings, seat, etc etc etc etc!!
With the new 2012 650R hitting the dealers soon, there will be some current 650R's going cheap now.

that makes me feel better, i couldn't read the specs for it, to see that it was the same weight, interesting seems kinda dumb being basically the same bike though.

and there are some for cheap i found a guy a few weeks back selling his 2007 650r for 2500,that or he was going to store it for the winter, so i hope he stored it and i might get it next spring
