It's still early but it might be time to start thinking about/planning a "Dragon" meet up. I'm going in September again, probably 3-4 week. I'm going to check out the Snake too while out that way.

Unofficially setting the meet for Sept. 19-29th so maybe more riders can attend. At least have one (or more) day in the middle where everyone who goes can all meet up and get together.

I'm looking at the Dragon calender of events for Sept. and there are no club meets thus far for the 18-29th. I went last time the 3rd week in Sept. and it was awesome, weather was good and not that crowded. I would like to set the date for somewhere between the 19-29th. I'm definitely going to be there again the 3rd week 19-23rd but as last trip went by so fast, I'm thinking about staying all the way thru thrusday of the 4th week and leave before the weekend to make the trip back home - 556 miles. Weekdays are the best, less crowded.

Did you ride the whole way or trailer it?
Trailer, it's 550 miles-9 1/2 hours each way. I rode around 700 miles while I was there on the bike, I was surprised when I looked at the odometer @ the trip's end.

Nice vids! A friend of mine went to the dragon, he now calls harley riders street cows lol.
I have a friend that lives 30 minutes from the gap. I started hanging out with the locals on my last trip. They chill under the covered benches over next to the gas pumps, it's refered to as the haters section cause all the locals hang out there together and make fun of the harley riders. haha.

They are the top riders with the best skill level by far. Most of them race at the track.
