So today I took my bike for the first time in 2009!! weee!.

However I just noticed something, when it was warming up, the idle dropped to around 1000-1200 rpm and the oil AND temp lights like kinda flicked on a couple second..is it because the bike was "almost stalling" ? I think I probably took off the choke too soon..it was -1 (30 F) outside, so the thick oil might play some part into that...any input?

it kinda sounds like you just took the enrichener off too soon and the bike was on the verge of stalling. when you have the key turned on but haven't started the bike yet, the lights should be on as sort of a self test. if you actually stall the bike, I think these lights will be on because the key is still in the same position. I'd keep an eye on it because if there is an actual problem with either system it could be bad news. but I think that you're ok and it was just about to stall.
