I repaired a crack from years ago on a bike....:thumb:
I used to weld high strength pipe....
Had to re-temper it tho after in a big metal tempering oven to the manufacturers specs. Luckily the Welding school down the road had the oven. Don't remember much now about the specs, but maybe Kawasaki could tell you?...:thumb:
Mine was a Honda then......
U'll need a certified welder in this type welding to do it....:thumb:
Don't just have ur local...hey i can weld....attempt this kind of stuff...:eek::eek::eek:.

Awesome that gives me some hope what was your total cost to fix your frame
Mine was nothing........:thumb:
I did the heating, bending, welding, re tempering,(Local welding school had a oven) repainting, n put the bike back together myself. It took me time......:thumb::thumb:
It was the Welding school I attended for 2 years to get my degree.
They wanted me to teach there after, but there was more $$$ in construction so i went that route instead.
