Quick question for the newbie that I am.... Does anyone know if just shimming the needles will be ok for performance when doing a Yoshimura slip on or full exhaust? Or do I have to do a complete re-jet?

Any help is always appreciated---

shimming should be sufficient for the full system I don't think you need to do anything with just the slip-on... it should say on their website but I think most companies tune them so you don't have to mod anythign else unless you go full system.

yoshimura recommends a a jet kit with either a slip on or full system however with a slipon you can just shim the needles and youll be good. really in my opinion a jet kit is if you really want to try and get alot of power out of it and if you want that route sell and get a 600 plain and simple..
