I found that at a certain rpm I don't have to pull in the clutch to shift on my 2013 zx6r. Is that a good thing to be doing or will something happen to my transmission?
No real benefits other then not useing that clutch lever.Alright so what are the benefits and the downsides other then not having to pull in the clutch. Does it save gas? Save the clutch?
I don't race but if you want to change gear with no clutch safely it's the best way ,before I fitted my quickshifter I used to not use the clutch for up shifts anyway but did for down shiftsI dont race so really dont need one, but the others mite wanna look into that
personally I love pulling in the clutch and shifting - I enjoy a manual tranny, for that get a scooterGet a quickshifter !
they are for people with no clutch control 😋personally I love pulling in the clutch and shifting - I enjoy a manual tranny, for that get a scooterit's auto! :NefRider:
Alright awesome thanks for the info!!!Engine brake as much as possible but that's not the same as down shifting without using the clutch. I personally engine brake all the time to save brake pads and rotors. But mainly because I ride higher in the Rpms cuz I ride like I stole my bikes. I've got some old videos on you tube. Byte2022. You can see my Rpms are always above 9,000. They are videos from street riding my r6
