So would you say that it is worth the $35? I really want to get one of these.
Wonder if there is a PDF version getting about.

Felix

that would be sick someone should put the book online in pdf format for the rest of us.
Its very worth $35, maybe I can have my bro help me help you guys out with getting it posted in .pdf...it is a very large book, a few hundred pages good 1"-1.5" thick, covers everything on the bike with ample pictures. I personally prefer having a manual right next to me in full rather than running back and forth to pc, using laptop, or single printed sheets.
MisfitSeR, thanks for the effort. I look forward to it.
Definitely, MisfitSeR. I'm sure everyone here would like that service manual in a pdf format. That would be extremely helpful.
so whats up anyone got a service manuel online to pass around yet ????
Its massive, no way in hell I'm gonna scan it. Worth the money I reckon. That said I didnt use it once with the last lot of mods I just did. The online tuts and DIY's that are around are alot more useful.

Glad I have mine tho.

Felix

Its also illegal to scan it due to copyright laws...If you are doing something where you would need to referance it over and over (like an engine rebuild or something), than just buy it.
I found another one on ebay that comes on a CD. But it says its from the UK, so it's probably the fuel injected version, right?

If your interested here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/KAWASAKI-250R-N...ash=item250305730178&_trksid=p3286.m63.l1177#
Is that the same manual you get from Kawasaki (at the dealer) ?
no. when you buy the bike you get an owner's manual, which covers like care for the bike and how to use it and wahtever.

The service manual is for when you want to do-it-yourself. Like if soemething breaks, instead of taking it to the dealer, you look it up in the service manual.

The linke I posted is the one that comes with the bike IN THE UK. i'm assuming. because its coming from the UK.
look on ebay an search buy it now items I got my PAPER BACK copy for $36 with shipping. check it out.
every one should get a service manual. if yo fix it your self it is very valuble.
If you have someone else work on your bike . they will save time that is money to you.

That is only for the 1987-2007 250. They didn't actually make any major changes to the design of the bike until 2008
