Santiago Chopper Kawasaki H2
Wednesday 13th June, 2012

Alan Bernard is a colorful character. Based in Florida, he runs Santiago Chopper and created the Norley Cafe Racer. Here’s his latest bike, and it’s got to be his most extreme yet—in terms of engineering, as well as the fluoro color scheme.

This machine has got the ‘go’ to match the show. The motor started life as a Kawasaki 750 H2, but it’s a high-power drag bike engine built by Fast By Gast that sucks through 40mm Lectron carbs. It’s nestling in a 1988 Suzuki GSX-R frame, with a front end from a Ducati 1098. (The swingarm and wheels are also from the Ducati parts bin.) The tank and seat unit were hand-made at Santiago Chopper, with frame mods done by Aztech Welding. The whole shebang was put together with the help of mechanic Mike Lima.

Sweet looking ride, but that is not a Chopper, more a Cafe Racer!

pretty bizarre looking bike. Looks almost as weird as some of the bikes i see black guy squids riding around on. (no racism intended... just seems like i always see black guys w/o helmets riding crazy lookin bikes).

I really hope i can find someone who will let me ride their big bike before I upgrade in a few years from my 250r. I want to know if i wanna go for a supersport, or maybe a 1000/650r in the end
