I can't find anything on the internet about it, but the manual says not to roll your bike while it's off if i'm not mistaken.

Is it bad to roll your bike for somewhat extended distances while it's cold?

I live in a first floor apartment with a garage and my neighbor is pissed about my zx6r with a m4 exhaust (it is quite loud i'm aware)... says he can hear it even when it's in the garage so i'm thinking about rolling it 100 yds or so to the front office before turning it on in the mornings.

There is nothing at all wrong with rolling it when it's cold as long as you are in neutral!!! The only time your doing damage to the motor is when your in gear but neutral is not going to hurt anything. Try before you roll it 100 yards away just taking it out of the garage. He will still hear it but it shouldn't be as bad and Infact drop it a few db and will reduce the resonant frequency that is probably pissing him off
