I know I haven't been around as much lately but it seems traffic is low here. Anyone else feel the same?

Yeah, traffic is going backwards here.
Makes my job as admin pretty easy, but it certainly is nowhere near the way it was back in 2009/2010.
We only had a small community back then, but everyone was extremely active.
That crowd has moved on, basically it is only me and Blueghost from back then.
I'm going to blame Earl, since I blame him for everything else!!! :p

earl doesn't help with many but it's not earl that scares them away. It's the damn 250 thing that makes you lose a lot of potentials. You want to get people back. Open the forum to kawasaki bikes. You'd prolly get more people for sure
Unfortunately this forum started out as a forum dedicated to the Ninja 250, so there are still a lot of members on here that still have ninja 250s, not to mention the ton of info on it. Over the last few years this forum has been open to ALL KAWASAKI BIKES. I have personally included as much information and started threads as I possibly could for anybody that asked a question for a specific bike. Other than the Ninja 250 and Ninja 300 specific sections, everything else is open for any bike.

So, I don't understand what you mean by,"It's the damn 250 thing that makes you lose a lot of potentials." What would you suggest the forum do?
Get rid of all the Ninja 250 info ?

The problem is there are not enough people starting threads and providing enough information and knowledge about other bikes, so that information is not here. Even if you had a specific section for every Kawasaki Bike ever made, the information has to come from the users with the knowledge and who are willing to take the time and do it.

I don't put a lot in information in here anymore simply because the information gets lost in a sea of stupid (often) unnecessary responses, emoticons, and other useless shit. Nobody likes to wade thru a bunch of crap to get a simple piece of information nor do good contributors like to take the time to place information somewhere where they feel it would be useless.

There is a ton of information contained in this forum for other Kawasaki bikes and if it looked like Kawiforums, it would be just that...Kawiforums.

I agree with you but I think what Byte is trying to say is that since we are titled as a ninja 250 forum, it strays a lot of people away because they think this forum isn't for them since they don't own a ninja 250. I think this forum particular has an extreme edge over other the majority of Kawi forums, and the edge is we have a mobile app. I mean, that's how I found this place almost 3 years ago. About the information being lost in unnecessary conversation, I completely agree. I like that our forum is casual, but it sometimes takes a lot of scrolling past random comments to get to the information you are looking for which becomes a hassle real fast.

The forum is not titled a Ninja 250 Forum. It is a Kawasaki Ninja Forum- Kawasaki Ninja Owners Community - Come join our free online club to talk about all things related to your Kawasaki Ninja!

Google it.

Fair enough. I was always under the impression that this was a Ninja 250 forum but other bikes were welcome since most of the original users no longer rode 250s. At least that's the way I remember it when I joined. I guess it has changed since then.

N all anyone has to do is ask a question to get an answer. or to where that info mite already be posted.....
It seems the crowd here doesn't mind answering a question even if it has been asked multiple times....
As in other forums they tend to be ass's to answering questions to people over n over.....
It's hard to search a forum that has a lot of threads, so hell man....ask away.....

ghost I def understand what your saying but as a new member when I joined I thought it was a Kawasaki forum but then within minutes I felt like I was in a 250 forum and it doesn't help that the app states 250 on it. And trey is also correct that the threads stray way to far left or right sometimes and when your trying to get help I don't want to search through pics of pink bikes and fat chicks. Just throwing it out there. I don't have a problem with this being mostly a 250 forum but it definitely limits the members in my
Opinion
