whats up everyone? I found this site thru some google surfing, and it fits the bill for what I was looking for. So I figured I'd stop and say hello. As the title suggests, I'm from Pennsylvania, just bought my first bike after years and years of procrastination. I got a 2010 Special Edition Green Ninja 250, and I love it.

For years I've wanted a bike, kept putting it off for no apparent reason until this year. The new Ninja 250 has been the bike I've wanted to start on since it came out in 08, and always had people telling me that I would get bored of it after a month. I ignored those people, and just went for it this year.

I've only had it out a couple of days in the two weeks since buying it, its been raining cats and dogs here. But I look forward to reading and contributing to the site, I like what I've seen so far.

I only have a couple quick cell pics from the day I bought the bike, so until the weather clears, they will have to do.

I haven't picked up a lot of gear yet, but I managed to catch some closeout deals from sportbiketrackgear.com. Picked up a Bell Vortex helmet, a Scorpion Cool Rod jacket, and some Shift gloves. No mods on the bike yet, plan on eliminating the rear fender and an HMF slip on at the very least.

There was no mention as to why Pennsylvania sucks, he's new here and went off topic in his own thread, haha. I guess you'll fit right in around here. ;D

........... wish my girlfriend would suck ......... ( reminder to self - get girlfriend to suck ) oops, step 1: get a girlfriend.

........... get a girlfriend that rides ........... motorcycles, lol.

Sure there was, its been raining since I bought the bike, thus pennsylvania sucks;D

And about team green, it better count, the color was a major factor in me getting the bike. Much like my car, had it not been for the color the decision would have been dragged out further lol. But I got the bike that I wanted and didn't have to settle, makes it that much better.

I get the feeling that all my "plans" for my bike will end up something like the "plans" for my car last year. The "plan" was new wheels/tires, lower, and tint. What actually happened was new wheels/tires, lower, exhaust, CAI, tint, eyelids, front lip, removed side moldings and badges, rebadged rear, LED tail lights, and vinyl roof.

The more I keep looking at things for the bike, the more I see that I want. Right now Im trying to figure out which fender eliminator I want, and I keep seeing frame sliders, stands, tires, under bodies, windscreens, etc lol.

and for those who might be curious, a few pics of my car.

Bikes can get wet, haha, it won't hurt it. But wet + cold = :( (not so happy). Wet underwear by the time you get to work without a change of clothes = not so much fun either.

Its been cold and pouring rain, bike can handle it, I can't lol

Nice car, tastefully done up... good to see for once.

Beautiful car! Indeed, very well done! How about a slightly more exposed shot, same lighting conditions, just a bit hotter to bring out some of the shadows? You seem to know what you're doing, but if you can't, PM me with you address and I'll crank them through gimp.... Can you tell I want to see more of that car? lol.

Also, if you're interested, I have a slightly used Comp Werks fender eliminator ready to be shipped out.... Again, congrats on the bike, hope it treats you well!

Most of the car pics were taken just after getting my Nikon P90, was still getting used to it. I have a few more pics I can post, I will throw them up (some before the new camera and some of the mods). I will pm you about the Comp Werks too.

and to keep this a bit more on topic (lol). went on my first REAL bike ride today, and by real I mean more than my gf's road haha. Went out with her brother in law and his brother, about a 40 mile ride through some nice mountain roads. FREAKING AWSOME! haha
