Open the cap and look inside the reservoir... It's not like you have to take fairings off to get to the reservoir like the rest of us.... And is your bike leaking? If it doesn't have coolant drip spots, and it's not pumping white smoke out the exhaust, you shouldn't have to check it except for oil changes, so why worry, eh?

Lookin real good Hack, something else you could look at is a belly pan, like off the shark racing fairings....not sure how you could fit it, thats about where my help ends!!! - but would look cool!!!!

Just tape of a straight line vertically (up and down) only needs to be about a 1/4" wide, on the front or back of the resivoir and then spray black, let dry and peel the tape, then you still have a window type area so you can see how much you have in it!!!!
