Hey ya'll! Few quick things about myself...I own an '02 Shadow (cruiser) and an 05 SV650 (race bike). I'm in my late 30's and ride as much as I can. I've always owned sportbikes - 90's were mostly VFR's and 2000's I bought a TLR which I absolutely loved. After racing a few years with Loudon Road Race Series (Loudon, NH), I decided it was time to end the supersports for the street....

Anyway, my wife decided she wanted to ride...She took the MSF class and got her license in the summer of 2010. She decided to spoil herself with a brand new ninja 250R. 2 months later, we found out we were going to have a baby! That's where her riding ended lol. I figured I would at least use the gas that was in the tank...139 miles later, gas is on 'E' and the bike sat. This year, I decided to start using it as a commuter. I just installed a 15T front sprocket to get rid of the 9,000 rpm buzzyness at highway speeds. Tried to start her up - nothin....that's why I'm here. To learn the most about the bike as I can, get her fixed up, and put some nice milage on her! I really enjoy riding this bike! Thanks for reading and I'm looking forward to getting to kow the bike intimately!

Welcome ,the sv's are popular to race here in England called the mini twin series !
lol...yea, we call it the lightweight series. The track we race is a very technical track that is all about corner speed. Lightweight, ultra lightweights (125GP's, motards) are very popular. One of the only tracks I've ever ridden that the 600's are faster than the 750 and 1000's!

Unfortunately, there is no class for the 250...the elevation changes make it kind of rough for the small beast!

I raced motocross and supermotos,I liked the supermotos more (could put a pretend plate on it and play on the roads upsetting the big bikes haha)they've just changed our local track snetterton uk (google it ) it used to be a power bike circuit I used to get smashed on the straights on my 600 but they've made it more technical still 2 long straights but you can keep the 1000s honest through the infield part!
