Hi All,

My bike is just over 600 miles and thus the first service is due. However i am aware that the most essential part of the first service is the oil and oil filter change which i can do it myself.

I really dont want to pay $250 for just a oil change. But is the first service mandatory for maintaining warranty? I have bought the oil filter and oil for the bike.

Please let me know.

No the first service is not required to keep
Your warranty. However, in the owners manual you should write down the oil changed date and type oil added. They have room in the back of the manual for this very thing. Maintainence log
