Hi, I'm looking to start my first riding season and I think I'm going to start on a 1989 ex250f. I'm wondering if there are any model-specific issues or things that I should be aware when picking up this bike, and if there is any work I'll want to have done or do myself on the bike before the riding season comes around (I'm in Canada so riding during winter isn't an option).
Any tips or information about this bike would be awesome. A few people have suggested buying a newer bike but I'm getting this one at a pretty nonexistent price and it is supposedly in good condition, with new tires, and every intention of maintaining it properly.
