Any advice from experienced riders out there? I'm 37 haven't driven since I was 17. Bikes have changed for sure any helpful tips for this particular bike and tips in general ?
My advice, from over 35 years of motorcycle riding and racing, would be not to buy a big super high performance motorcycle when you are re-entering the sport after 20 years off, but...

Always wear full gear. That will easily get away from you in the blink of an eye.

Be careful.

Advice is to take it slow meaning ride at your own level. Dont try to keep up with others iff your not on their level and always leave the traction control on. Always!!!! There is no reason to turn it off. I turn mine off only to ride wheelies but then its back on. A 1400 can ride wheelies but that would be the only reason to turn it off.
