Ok So This Weekend I Worked On My Bike. First I Removed The Snorkle. This Took About Five Min And I Could Hear A Diff But Didnt Take It For A Ride Because I Moved Strait On To The Carb. Shimming The Needles Was Easy Enough. I Found The Washers At The Local Mr. Eds (hardwear store). I Raised Each Needle 0.050" As Was Recomended. I Did Feel A Diff. From About 4000rpm Up I Gained Power. From 1-3999rpm I Lost Power. I Was Dissapointed In Loosing The Low End, But I Figured That After Freeing Up The Air Flow I Would Gain It Back. To Free Up The Air Flow I Did The $36 Exhaust. I Got My Perforated Tubing Out Of A Cherry Bomb Glass Pack I Just Cut The End Off And Pulled It Right Out. You Can Get A Glass Pack From Checker For About $25(I Got Mine From My Back Yard, I Had One Laying Around). I Bought The Fiberglass From Auto Zone. I Got Two 8sq/ft Sheets Of It. I Did The Same Thing That RedRider Did Except I Kept The Original Tip In Hopes That It Wouldnt Be As Loud. I Just Welded The Two Inch Tubing Right On To The Cover That I Cut Off. I Did Not Size It Down. After Doing This My Exhaust Is Now 1/8in Shorter And Still Lokks Stock. It Sounds Great And Is Loud But Not To Loud. I Also Gained Back The Low End That I Lost.
Over All I Can Feel A Diff And Am Very Glad I Did It. Thanks For The Ideas Red.......Added A Neon Light Underneath
