Hey guys my name is Karl I'm 31 from Columbus Ohio and I ride a 2012 Ninja 250. This is my first season riding I picked up the bug. from my father who is an avid rider. I am sure you will see a ton of posts from me asking advice and tips.

Thanks! Tried to ride today but was 100 by noon,too hot for leathers = too hot to ride.

Thanks to the break in the heat I got out for a ride today while the kiddos took a nap. Looked down when I got home and saw my mileage just got the bike May 31st.

Went for a night ride and found Nirvana. Was riding with the sunset listening to David Gilmour playing Marooned and got this gem of a picture. Life was good today.

You think 100 is bad? Lol it got up to 116 today here in Oklahoma!! I still went riding though after the sun went down. WAY to hot for day time riding.

Its not so much the heat but the humidity that makes it bad here. Last few weeks have been great only in the upper 80s to 90s.

Yea I can understand that. I'm originally from Houston Texas and it can be only 85 outside but feel much hotter because the humidity there is unreal.

Ha! I rode in rush hour "stop and go" traffic in downtown Austin Texas in 101 degrees today! I was lucky if I got up to 30 mph. I don't know what was worse, the heat from the sun or the heat emanating from the monster I ride. All in all, I love riding every chance I get. Can't wait to do it again mañana.

I am Back!! It has been a while since I have been on the forum,have been out doing a lot of riding while I can,just hit 4k on the bike since May 31st and loving it. I also joined Ohio Riders and have found a ton of people to ride with (was riding solo now ride with a group of at least 6 to 8 people).
