Greetings All! I currently own a 2012 Ninja 1000 that I mostly ride around the back country of San Diego... just finished a 2100 mile trip up the Cali coast though - it was epic! Great to find a forum dedicated to the Ninja... at one time I owned a Ninja 250 and that was a sweet-azz bike too.

Sweeet! Great minds think alike!! The trip was AWESOME! I tried to hit roads that were (A) twisty as all get out and (B) scenic. CA1 all the way up, 101 part of the way, out the CA36 (where God motorcycles after church on Sunday) and the 299. I mapped out the route:
