Right, this is the problem I have, the stock can is ugly, and it's rusting already.

My bike is a European '08 in black (with fuel injection), and I want a new exhaust on it.

I need advice, and suggestions on the new can. Now I know you guys are mostly from across the water, but I don't have a freakin' clue.

I would like a slimmer, deeper sounding can, to match the black bodywork if possible. I'm also starting to think about making tweaks to the colour scheme, but I have no ideas yet.

All suggestions welcome.

If you get any in carbonfibre it goes well with the black.

Yeah I forgot to add, I've only an A2 licence, =<32bhp for 2 years. So performance enhancing cans are out of the question, I like to stay legal!

its less than 33bhp isnt it? wel less than or equal to 33 bhp. how much stock has it got because the cans add 3bhp.

which means if it has 30 stock you can have one on
ive had my bike on order for like 6 months so ive got all of this planned out

you'll be alright dude....what are they going to do, pull you over and run you to the dyno, haha. I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'd go with the yoshi or area p in carbon fiber to accent the black bike.

I don't know the first thing about exhausts, so some info may be required there also. Is it simply just take off the stock can and fit the new can on? Easy as that??

Yep,as ez as that.
But beware where you get the exhaust from.If you import one from the US of A,there is no location to put the oxigen sensor on.In this case there will be some modification involved.
Get one especially made for FI locally or Japan.Save lots of head scratching.

RR custom exhaust with a paint job. Cheap, and still legal. haha
