How hard would it be to add a few (maybe several) sections for

Ninja ZX-6,7,9 &10 (All Model Years)

Ninja 500 (All Model Years)

Ninja 650 (EF & ER-6 All Model Years)

Other Kawasaki Bikes (Versys, Cruisers, Standards & Classics, Concours, Z750 & 1000),

then merge the available info/topics we have on the forum into those sections?

Merge the media sections and nix the Ninja Review/Low down section?

You could put them in the Ninja 650r section.

I like the way you call me "Mr." Blue Ghost, makes me feel finally important!!

This is something that I wanted to do back a couple of years ago, when the site was in turmoil over the sale to the new owners, with everyone leaving and/or moving, I never got it off the ground.
It doesn't sound good to say it out loud, but each time I have tried getting back into it, something more interesting came up and distracted me(Sorry!!)

I will discuss it with the Tech Guys. I'm not sure if there is a fair bit involved in creating new sections, the messy, and most time consuming bit will be moving everything around that has already been posted.

If they keep it simple, making the subsection is easy. The hard part is moving threads. Many will take some reading to identify the subject content, which can take a little while (no big hurry though). It's really not that much, but it's a start. In the end it will be more organized and easier to find info, if it's on the forum.

Thanks for the suggestion Blue Ghost. I have no problem adding these new sub sections to the forum.

I think it would be a good idea to make each section about one type of bike and all the years it was made.

I think just adding the subsections to Ninja Tech | Modifications, Maintenance & Repair would be good to start with.

The subsections can be...

Ninja 500 (All Model Years)

Ninja 400 & 650 (EX & ER-6 All Model Years)

Ninja ZX-6,7,9 & 10 (All Model Years)

Other Kawasaki Bikes (Versys, Cruisers, Standards & Classics, Concours, Z750 & 1000),

move the Kawasaki Ninja 300 Forum link to a subsection

and just rename the 250 Technical Topics to Ninja 250 (All model years)

leave Modifications where it currently is.

Merge the media sections Ninja Pics & Ninja Videos, since it is rarely used and nix the Ninja Review/Low Down section (another rarely used topic) moving the topics to a bike subsection

Move Gear Talk to Ninja Community Talk

To help make thread moving easier, users can identify a thread and notify admin where it should go, when they run across one that would be more useful in another subsection.

Also Ninja FAQ & Tech Specs can be changed to just Ninja FAQ's. The tech specs can be moved the the specific bike subsection.
