I might have found a used 08 Ninja, and from my online search it would fit in the back of my friend's SUV with the fairing removed (its about 5 hours away from here). But I need some real world comfirmation...

Could anyone go out and measure the

1. height from the floor to top of handlebars
2. height from the floor to windshield's top
3. Lenght from front of front tire to back of rear tire

Very appreciated!!!! :p

Approx. 40"
2. height from the floor to windshield's top
Approx. 44"
3. Lenght from front of front tire to back of rear tire
Approx. 81"

I measured on the kick but that should be pretty close.

This just comfirmed the ninja 250 will fit in my friend's 98 toyota rav4 !!!

This were my first posts on thsi board btw, I might be a new ninja owner ;D
WHAT?!?! a rav4? i think you will have a bitch of a time getting it in, IF it fits.... how do you plan to put it in the car? lift it, or ramp?
No prob! Now go get that NINJA!!! I don't know, I watched a video when Kawasaki was promotiong their sweepstakes and this one girl had to put her 250 the back of a station wagon!

Both person lift the front of the bike in the cargo bay, then push it a little, then its the back, its pretty easy.

I transported my yamaha bws/zuma, which is almost the same size as the ninja, only with the mirrors removed. I suspect I will have to remove the nose fairing/windshield on the Ninja and teh rear flap to make it fit. And in the WORST case the front or rear wheel.

Now I just hope its not going to be sold, which it might, but hey, it means it'll be another day , lol!

My brother and I picked up a FREE suzuki gs650 off the side of the road and put it in my oldsmobile custom cruiser. it fit great! was heavy with just the two of us, but we are pretty burly dudes so it was cake...

I however, would not A.) do this with a newninja B.) do this with a newninja C.) do this with a newninja....

Anyone see a pattern here?

its gonna be about a beotch to have to strip the whole bike down just to get it home, but hey, i guess if thats the only way i coulda got mine, id grab the tool box and jump at the opportunity. ;D

Good Luck and let us know how it went... WITH PICS!!!! ;)
Just strap it on the roof!

Felix

Removeing every thing mentioned will take about an hour. Not to mention

With no plates registration or lisense, not qorth risking it. I wont even ride it this season. Its going to be a freaking long winter!

Will try to get pictures, i'm sure we can do it without removing the wheels though.
