I am close to closing on my new house and came across a trade in. Here are the specs:

2009, 250 in Red
Lowered about an inch
6,666 miles
$3,500

If thing align properly she may be minez!

Here's a pic of the lady in red. One question comes to mind: should I be concerned with the moto being lowered? I'm sure it can be raised. One thought I had was with my wife being 5'1" this may work out to my advantage. She can take ownership of this ninja while I get my second moto.

The lowering links and bar risers should be pretty easy to remove and re-install later on if the Missus wants to ride.
Did you check if the owner is a member on here? I remember seeing a red Ninja here that had an identical tank cover on it.

I could be wrong, it just stuck in my mind that I had seen it on here. Unless you went through every single member and looked at their photos, I very much doubt you will find them!
Good luck with it anyway!! :p

Hey Nef! The bike looks great. I would suggest you check the asking price for similar bikes on Craigslist in your area.
Also KBB for motorcycle would give you a ballpark figure. Note that the cost of the new 2011 250R is about $4800 out the door (some dealers still have them).

Dealers sticking to a 4,200 + assembly and crate as cost for a new 250r. I did check CL and bike are comparative. I am ok with paying a bit extra with a dealer than a personal sale. This way they will get the plates, have inspection done and fix any issue that may be present.
