The last bike I had, before taking an 18 year hiatus from riding. A 1983 Suzuki 1100ESD. It was the fastest production bike in it's day. And today, couldn't keep up with 600's. :'(

Brilliant! There is a big following of these bikes in the drag bike community over here, couple of really really quick bikes I've seen.

Look at the venting on my Aria helmet. State-of-the-art back then... today I'd die of suffocation.

90 series profile tires, and a MAC 4 into 1 exhaust, that probably made less horsepower than stock. But it sounded right.

I remember my girlfriend's father was a Honda dealer in Phoenix, when I was looking for a new bike. I was thinking of picking up a 900F, when the Suzuki became available. Riding it home, did not score points with her dad.
