Thank you Zartan!

I'm still under 10 grand for everything bike, gear, and mod's. So its still not cheaper to buy a 600. LOL

It's still cheaper to buy a Motorcycle and mod the $hit out of it, then buy a cheap brand new car. Plus a Motorcycle is cool!

Nice list, this would be an awesome bike, and when did you turn 16? Happy birthday, since I missed it! and did I miss the fender eliminator?

How about brake lines?
http://www.2fiddy.com/2008/05/galfer-satinless-brake-lines-for-ninja-250r/

and suspension?
springs: http://www.progressivesuspension.com/
From Eric, shocks: http://www.yssusa.com/

flush mounts turn indicators?

Mirrors?

frame sliders?

tires?

windscreen? Double bubble?

decals?

And don't forget, a large portion of those things are gear, not motorcycle parts - so figure them outside the budget of the bike, cause if you bought a car, you would still buy clothes....

I turned 16 in January. Yes you missed the fender eliminator. It's a very exspensive version but it looks sick!

Spiegler seamed to be the same quality as the Galpher brake lines for cheaper.

Spiegler Stainless Steel Brake Lines

I looked into the YSS kit but I'm going to wait and see if I like the stock suspension set up.

spooph said:

I have issues with the flush mount's you mine as weal just unplug the freaking turn signals.

spooph said:
I'm going to put a little circular mirror in the corners of the mirrors. So you can actually see the lanes not your elbows.

frame sliders?

I've heard a lot of stories how the stock rubbers are crap. So i'm thinking MICHELIN Tires.

spooph said:
windscreen? Double bubble?
I'm going to buy a can of black spray paint and just black out the wind screen.

spooph said:
I'm not a big fan of a lot of stickers or decals, I prefer a clean look.

No, Spooph I like to drive my car in my Birthday Suit.hahah lol j/k I'm budgeting $4,500 for the bike, $2,000 for gear, and about $3,000 for Modifications.

That's a pretty comprehensive list, Delta! Some good stuff in your list too.

Just wondering if you've budgeted for a riding course to stay safe out there?

Yes, I'm a Safety freak when it comes to dangerous activities like motorcycle riding. There is no sense of taking unnecessary risk's. It's cost $250 here in Colorado, I'm going to try and take it right before I buy the bike.

Atleast you've done your research. :p I love the idea that your "Budget" is so high. Sort of defeats the purpose, Especially on an entry level motorcycle. But I suppose youe taking an entry level motorcycle and making it awesomely unique and yours. So groovy.

Hate to see how much you spend on your first big bore however haha.

LOL Ratty That's why I have committed to keeping everything under the cost of a New CBR600rr MSRP 9,799 and constantly going up 100 - 200 bucks a year. Right now I have about $300 of breathing room.

Plus why mod a bigger bike? Not like you need to go faster, you have enough power to go around the world and back.

Well, they always come with some awful fender. ;)
True that would probably be the only thing I do to a bigger bike, is cut of the fender.

I'd only mod my bigger bike, Evident in my Ninja currently being completely stock. :p

As to what I'll do to it.. Time will tell once I get it I suppose, But it mostly won't necissarily be about making it go faster.. It'll be more about reppin how much of a smooth pimp
I am... :p
