It is a 2010 model. Only had 2000klm on it when I got it. Had been sitting for 2 years and I got it for a good price. I've put another 2000klm on it in the 3 months I've had it. Looking at putting some sports bars on it and have some adjustable footpegs on order. The standard pegs are way too close to gear and brake levers.

It's a basic bike. Smooth. Reliable. And is way quicker than me. I brought it with the aim of becoming a solid and confident rider and in a few tears upgrade to something really sporty. Until then it's fun fun fun.

Bloody hell I wish you guys were on here a couple of months ago. In March I took the missus over to Vic on the bike and went down the Great Ocean Rd through to Warrnambool, quick visit to Port Fairy, and then through Ballarat and onto Bendigo. Spent about 6 days in Bendigo with a quick run up to Echuca to ride the Paddle Steamers.
We could have had a meet up!

Did you buy your Ninja1K from the Kawasaki Dealer near the centre of town? I called in there to grab a new set of gloves before heading home and started drooling over the green Ninja/black 1000 they had there on the floor. Would have sat on it if it wasn't so crowded in by other bikes. I think that will be my next bike, but the Wife has to give the rear seat her tick of approval!
I was only wearing thongs then as well, so I definitely would not have sat on it anyway.
