This topic is on the bike you are thinking of getting or are getting after your 250R.

I just got got back from my local kawasaki dealer, they had lots of motorcycles. What caught my eye was the '09 ZX6R, next to it was the '08, big difference between them. The '09 was smaller and had a different kind of seat that was more comfortable. I think I just found my next bike, the '09 ZX6r. No offense Felix but I think the '09 looks way better. Then I looked at the '09 650 and they looked like crap toward the ZX6R. Then I saw a Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha. They all looked inferior. Even the '09 ZX10R didn't compare (looked bigger, and I don't like where the front blinkers are). I've also seen the Area P exhaust on the '09 ZX6R, it is sick! Also when I clutched the handle bars, it was easier to move, and felt great and the tank looks awesome, but ill be a year or two before I could ever think about possessing it. I'll start saving.

I too dream of the 09' ZX6R. Motorcycle.com had the comparison between all the 09' 600cc race bikes (ZX6R, GSXR600, R6, CBR600RR) and the new ZX6R finished first place far ahead of the competition in both the Street and Track tests. Also won first in SPORT BIKE magazine, which also had the triumph 675 in the comparo. The 08' ZX6R finished 4th in the same compariosn on motorcycle.com. So its obvious the 09' redesign was so well done that everyone on this site should want that bike over any other. Its nasty.

If I continue with sportsbikes(when I grow up!!) I think the pick is the Triumph Daytona 675. It just oozes sexuality!
I'm not talking carnal knowledge, just want to be seen next to it!!!!

I sold my 600zzr and I regret it . I traded it for an 06 vfr 800 . then sold that for a dream vacation on the Isle of man and some race stuff. But still regret selling the 600.
I will need another bike soon . The land speed racing is getting to the point that the 08 ninja 250 I have now will not be rideable on the street and I have to make a decision . Should I buy another 250 and have lots of hand me down parts or a 600 650 or q 675 . I dint want a 1000 unless it is a V twin.

yeh thats a triumph 675!
when i move up from my 250 (depending how much money i have) ill either buy a 675...or an old 600cc bike for a couple of year... (so i dont wreck a good bike if i fall off getting used to a big bike)

I just look at porn! ::)

Back to the bikes!! - The Daytona here in Australia is actually cheaper than the R6,CBR600RR and ZX6!
