have been using this Xena disc lock
it has a built in battery powered alarm, which gets triggered by the slightest movement
i would say it has been working rather well so far...

i kind of like the loud alarm signal of this Xena disc lock, thieves hate noise
the alarm would also get triggered if you try to drive off while forgetting to remove the lock

over here we have dogs and the neighbourhood is quite pro-active
... justice is usually being served to motorbike thieves before police even gets the call
