My right mirror has worked it self loos. I was going down the road and it was shaking really bad. So I pulled over and checked it. The thing came out in my hand. OK what do I do. Don't know how get to the bolts to put new bolts on. Is this covered under the warranty? :-\

Ratty do you know how to get to the mirror mounts?
I called the dealer and they said it would be 3 weeks before they could fix the problem. I really don't want to wait that long.
same thing happened to me you have to take apart the front fairing on the right side to get to the mounting brackets. mine wasnt as bad as yours but it was missing a nut on one of the screws so that made it a little loose. easy fix just dont scratch it lol
OK I was looking at the bike and I don't see how to take off the right side only. could you take a picture of what screws you took out to take off the right side that would help so much. I really don't want to have to take off the whole fairing just to put the mirror back on. You know not for nothing but it is a little embarising  because my friend bought a Hyosung and I told him that it was a POS and not to buy it..... well now he is saying who has the POS now Be-och
You will have to remove the whole front piece. Remove both fairings, then remove the black plastic liner underneath the front. Then the 4 screws around the guage area are removed. Unhook the wiring to the headlights and the whole front end comes off. This is easy to do...but I would raise hell and make the dealership do it NOW. That is not a factory defect because the DEALERSHIP is the one that installs the mirrors. You should have an assembly checklist that shows this.

If you need a more detailed writeup and pics let me know. It may be a little while but I'll try to put a writeup together.

have you raced this supoosedly "race tuned 250"(hyosung) haha?
yes and it wasn't even close. It is also kinda fun to point out to him some of the rust he has already on his brand new bike. Can you belive it, he just got his the same time I got mine and he has rust on his handle bars and a couple of spots on the frame.. OMG! I would never Buy one of those POSes. He had a deposit on a ninja 250 but it was taking to long so he went with the Hyosung they had on the floor.

Red thanks for the details, the dealer is going to do it tomarrow when they do the first servic. they gave me some greif but after further debate they saw it my way ;)
I am Agast by the lack of customer service some dealers provide. I am so glad I have a great dealer here in Monroe.WA
In the how too section there is a great thread on how to remove the fairings. Red did a great job. It is easier with two so ask that Hyosung boy to shut his yapper and help :)!
He paid $4,400 OTD for it. he just ran into his first problem he has one of those digital dashes and it just start to cut in and out. The place he bought it from dosen't have any Hyosung Tecs, thats the first problem and the second the parts are on back order and no one knows when they will be able to get one in. So anyone want to trade for a some what used Hyosung "race ready" for a 08 Ninja 250r ;)
You know my mirror is kinda loose also but not in the way that Ninjay250R had his. When I ride my bike normally (speeds up to 85mph?) the mirrors are fine but when I hit 90 - 100 mph the right mirror gets pushed in by the wind. The left one is fine. There have been instances where there are strong winds traveling at normal speeds will move the mirror also. Anyone else run into this problem? How can I fix this? Anyone have any ideas?

ahahaha

So is this a problem for most ninja's? Essentially should you go ahead and buy the new bolts when you purchase the bike? Or at least put an order in for them just in case.
My Left mirror became loose where the mirror arm meets the mount (on the fairing) just took foam sticky pad off and tightened the bolt

3weeks to fix a bolt??  the dealer must be joking!
Hope some one from kawasaki read this forum too. :-[ :-[
3 weeks thats ridiculous. I woulda made that guy at the dealership's life really really difficult if he said that to me haha its a bunch of crap.
I would've asked him for a discount if it took 3 weeks. Thats bullshit, especially with one of the most needed safety parts of your bike. Its almost like riding without breaks.
nahhh not that dangerous. maybe without the back brake.
