So took my new macro lens and girl off to try it out...
First few shots, be kind, today was a learning day that is for sure! Wind sucks, light is never right, mono pod ROCKS and macro is WICKED!

With how bad my shakes are I need all the help I can get! Plus I couldn't afford a Macro lens with IS
It's a Manfrotto 679B Monopod, got it from digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au for around $70...
I leave it on the camera but shut up, I brace it against my belt to help with any shot... it also kinda acts like a keel.
