Does anyone on know what the 2 cables are for that are attached to the stock exhaust i am installing an M4 and don't know if those are needed

Its a 2012 zx6r

I reckon that is an O2 sensor. It reads the amount of air left in the exhaust fumes and adjusts the air/fuel ratio accordingly.

I just read a few forums that said its the servo cable and can be removed they will not be needed

Yep servo cable for butterfly in the exhaust disconnect and remove!
