hey guys i have an 07 ninja and its time for me to switch tires. Im lookin at getting some performance tires. i have read at places the stock tires are terrible and cheap. right now i am looking at getting pirelli sport demons. does anyone have any experience with these. or what would you guys recommend for something that isnt out of line in price, that still performs well. also. i havent called a dealer but any idea how much it will cost to get em changed? thanks very much.

I'm very happy with my Avon Roadrunners... Reasonable price, reasonable grip, reasonable life... I'll call my shop and see what they recommend for street legal "race" tires... What happened to the guy that put the busa front tire on his 250 rear... He's the guy to ask..

i am running the sport demons. great tires! night and day difference vs the stock irc tires my bike came with.

i don't have to force it to stay angled during the turn... it just holds whatever angle i have it at. i decided to stay with the stock sizes to maintain the "flickability", but the footprint still appears to be wider than the stock tires. these tires give me a lot of confidence when going in the twisties. i don't have the feeling that my tires could slide from under me, like i did with the stock tires. i suck at describing these tires, but i am extremely happy with them.

pballer, just so you know, the sport demons don't come in the oem sizes for the pre-gens. i know of people running the 100/90/16 fronts and 130/90/16 rears with great reviews. someone on another forum was saying that when he tried mounting a 110/90/16 on the fronts, it wouldn't fit. just a heads up.
