um, not sure about the LED's you ordered? Linky?
LED's are usually rated at 1.5v, and the bike produces 12v, which means depending on the LED's you have, you might have to add some resistors. However, unless you want the license plate light to do funky things, you won't need a controller module, you can hook them straight into the system...
