When you put your helmet on, what do you do with your hair? Mine is long, and I end up either braiding it (which takes forever it seems like) or putting it in a low ponytail and putting my jacket over it so it won't be tangled. Wish there was something easier...I've stuffed it in my helmet once on the top of my head, but haven't been gifted enough to pull that off again....just curious what you all do with yours! :)

I personally do a low pony tail and then braid it, I do that with my fire helmet. So i would probably do the same with a full face helmet.

Yeah I have super long hair, so I usually just braid it one braid or two, either or works for me! I hate leaving it in a ponytail cause it's gets WAY tangled.

Oh gosh, I know! I usually do a low ponytail and then put my jacket on over it, so the hair is covered, but I hate the way that feels. I much prefer leaving the ponytail out, but my hair is starting to get so long that it's really getting tangled, which sucks. Plus, haha, I love leaving it out too, so people know for sure that I'm a girl riding my own bike, lol.

HAHA! i totally feel the same way. It's kind of nice to have people know that we are female's riding. I'm thinking about maybe cutting my hair...but it's so long I don't really want to hahaha. Maybe next summer!

Hehe, I hear ya sister. I'm going tomorrow to get the whole nine yards: cut, color, hightlights...haven't decided yet what specifics I want...I've got it pretty light right now, but normally I'm a mousey brown, which I don't love but I also don't love having to worry about my roots showing...but I love tons of highlights...and I've thought about chopping the hair off b/c of the bike, but I don't know...lol, guess it'll grow back of course, if I don't like it...sigh...hair stuff is always such a big decision for me!

Oh believe me, it's a big decision for me too. I have super thick hair and....it's frizzy :(
BUt I've thought about chopping it all off too but I'm afraid it'll look bad cause I chopped it off once before and it was B.A.D.! So I don't know....Maybe just a little shorter hahah :D

Well, got my hair cut on Friday, so I no longer have long hair! Still not sure what to make of the new haircut, and haven't gotten a chance to try it out with the helmet...it just barely does a low ponytail now, although with all the layers, lol, there's a lot that won't stay in the low ponytail...sigh...I hate that "haircut" remorse I always feel after chopping off my long hair, but I suppose it'll grow back again...now if I could just figure out how the heck to style it like my hairdresser guy did, I'd be good to go!

I feel I can validly post in this thread, I used to have hair, and I found it such a hassle. So now I have skinhead, its cool (temp wise), low maintance and I dont get messed with. I've had it coloured plenty of colours including a magic 8 ball style, mohawks, stripes etc. Think next is a proper Kieth Flint do! I had a Flint dual mohawk with a centre stripe but I didnt just go the dual.

It is so funny cause i usually just wash my hair and it is a squirrly mess. Yesterday I had a bar-b-que and actualy styled my hair the way is it supposed to be. My guests would look at me and kind of tilt their heads. Like.. whats up.?? one even wanted to keep patting it flat.
most of them are my skating friends and are used to seeing me in helmet head style.

oh she just thought it was weird to see it poofy.
and yes I used to have long curly hair and oh my gosh tangle city. It was horrible even with brading it. the little parts that come loose woud get tangled.

I used to have to put in in my shirt at work. I could get sucked into a saw with a thick braid. I love my short hair.

I ride to the barber shop (yeah, barber shop :D it's cheaper and they have a really great gal there that does my hair, go figure) and have her cut it off at the bottom of the helmet.

I've always said that the more you ride, the shorter your hair gets.

PS I might be posting more, since my 09 might actually be arriving soon.

So, lol, I was in a crazy grumpy mood last night (we women never get like that, right?) and decided that I hated my new hair cut b/c it's looks like a mom mullet. lol, it's got all these layers, and for some reason, I've gotten it into my head that it looks like a modern day mullet and maybe like a mom haircut...and if one more stinking person dares to tell me that it makes me look older I think that I'll punch them. Who really wants to look older after you turn 21? NO ONE! So don't tell me that! I get that I'm getting old, I don't need people reminding me! ARRRGGG! lol...that's my rant for that day....maybe i'll just shave my head and wear wigs all the time...
