Yes... Because the Centers are a rough casting finish and would take probably 8-10 hours of sanding and polishing per wheel..
The wheel lips come with a smooth machine finish and i polished them up good in less then an hour..
If it were me, ( and this is just my opinion ) I would go with the solid color wheels. To me, with the polished lips there's just too much going on. AND . . . . I'm not a fan of chrome and thats what the polished lips remind me of. But either way, your bike will look fantastic. ;)

Sorry HP, obviously my sarcasm wasn't coming through enough!! But does that mean its doable?
having done my 250's and now having my z's come through with them, i have to say polished looks worlds better!
