Jerky Bike in 1st Gear?

4297 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Felix
I am in 1st gear, just traveling at a slow 5-7 mph. However, it seems this bike is very jerky and not smooth when I travel at such a low speed. Whenever I give it a bit of throttle, the bike would jerk forward a bit. And when I lay off the throttle, the bike would jerk back a bit.

What's going on?!

you obviously didnt take the MSF course dude.

use the clutch more to smooth it out , use the "friction zone" should help you alot at that lower speed and such.
Revs, more of them. Especially while wanting to go slow, And the clutch slightly engaged, protip.
