How much do you suspect the custom job cost?

Not sure if there is much anyone can tell you regarding that bike. Felix had one, but that was in Australia, so is like comparing apples and oranges! Since this is mostly a 250R site, there may not be much advice coming your way.

Custom paint jobs are hit and miss. While that one looks like a good job, I can't say I have seen an M3 in that colour, but I may be wrong.
Also, the bike has done over 6000 miles, not 3K as you said above.

low miles, very clean bike, custom paint or not that's a pretty average price. I'm not saying that it's a bad deal. I've been looking at 600cc bikes the past two months or so, I've found that between $5,000-$6,000 can get you a VERY nice bike with low miles. So that just falls right in line with what I've been finding.
