I was just wondering a good way to break in new tires on a new bike and or how much I need to ride before I start hitting the right corners, well basically everything haha
I believe I've read on this forum, ride at least 1k miles. I am sure others with experience will chime I. Soon.

if you've got time... every time you go out for a ride.. do some figure 8's in a parking lot for 5-10 minutes. It's really good for honing your skills, and will keep you from losing control in a turn when you need the traction most

It all depends on the tire and how aggressive u ride. If your going hard out the gate I would use a mild detergent ( not a soap). BorAx or mild mix of tri sodium phosphate and actually scrub the tires until the slick feeling and or shine is gone. But if you just wanna ride em until they are ready then u should carefully lean the bike from left to right u til the shine is gone. Start slow and easy slowly increasing the lean angle. Not necessarily the speed. Until the sheen is off the tire then your all set
