Hi All,

My name is Mark, and I've been riding Kawasaki's since 1998. Since moving from the UK to the USA in 2007, I've become hooked on track days, and with Laguna Seca, Sonoma and Thunderhill all within two hours of me - I'm in heaven. Add to that the beautiful biking weather, and I don't think the Old Country will be seeing me return any time soon!!

My current track bike is a 2007 zx6r. No major modifications - you have to keep the stock exhaust if you want to ride Laguna (and who doesn't). So just some simple steel braded brake hoses, sintered brake pads, -1 & +2 on the sprockets, and some good sticky D211's and I'm having a blast.

In fact so much so that I don't have so much desire to ride a sport bike on the street, it seems so tame in comparison. So I decided to fully immerse myself in American culture and bought a Harley Fat Boy for Sunday rides with friends (actually just back from a 1,050 mile tour of NorCal - some awesome roads between Redding and the coast!

As soon as I get a moment I'll post some pictures, but currently I'm needing to replace my Ninja's engine which I blew at the last track day. If anyone has advice - please find my post in the Wrenching 101 forum.

Good to meet you all

Best Regards

Mark
