My husband and I just picked up a 2009 Ninja 250 yesterday, to use mainly for track days. I haven't yet done a track day, and he's looking to get back on the track again himself. Also, the 250 will be the occasional toy to flick around, and then eventually hand down to our teenage boys (13 and 16) who already have caught the motorcycle bug.
One question I do have, especially for any other track day people - what's your tire preference? I'm having a tough time finding a SET of tires for this except for Shenkos and other off-brands. The rear tire seems to be hardest to find. How about alternative sizes?
The white Versys is my husband's, and the red FZ-09 is mine, next to our new addition to the family.
