Hi everyone my name is Jacob, I'am new to this forum but not new to forums, i love this forum it is great with a lot of info....I started riding bikes about 10 years ago when i first started racing motocross, and I still race motocross just not as much as i used to due to working all the time....I have owned a street bike before, I had a 95 Katana 600, but i was having a lot of carb troubles and just decided to buy me a new one....so i bought me a brand new 2012 Ninja ZX6R with 0 miles on it and love it!!! I have had the bike for about 4 days and already have about 500 miles on it about to put some more on it...anyway ill post you guys some pics, and thanks for the great forum!!

Welcome and awesome bike ,mines the 2010 model (only difference is front forks and paint scheme)I have power commander 5 de-cat pipe werx exhaust and k+n filter ,116 bhp at back wheel ,double bubble screen ,r+g tail tidy ,full suspension set up,stomp grips and single seat hump!

thanks man, and thats awesome sounds like you have a pretty good set up, and I was thinking about that werx exhaust as well i was looking at this one what do you think?

Welcome to the site. I also purchased the same exact bike 3 months earlier. Going to do some mods once I get my bike overseas. Already bought the Yoshimura Fender Eliminator and the M4 GP slip-on exhaust.

What kind of mods are you looking to do. I think you already said that you was thinking about the Competition Werkes USA GP Exhaust.

well i think i have changed my mind on that, i am looking at the area p exhaust, different gearing, im going to with integrated tails so i can completely get rid of the fender and custom make me a bracket for my tag some where....just a few things in mind nothing crazy just stuff to make it more fun to ride....doing the rear gearing for the wheelies, its a lot of stress on the stock gearing and tranny for wheelies lol

I've knocked 1 tooth off the front of mine and comes up in 2nd with a tug on the bars and up in 3rd if I clutch it!

Will be very peaky low down And prob lose quite abit from top end !

I was kinda thinking the same I had just read it some where....so you think just going 1 tooth lower in the front would be the best....I just want it so it will come up with out having to be pretty much abusive on it lol

Go 1 down 1st and then if that doesnt work (should do mine comes up easily but I do have other mods like de-cat pipe pc5 and filter )then try adding one to the rear but I wouldn't of thought that necessary unless all you want to do is wheelies lol

yeah i believe thats what i will do, i have to decide on an exhaust, i really want a short but not many to choose from, thanking maybe either area p or going with the yoshi

Yoshis are awesome and plenty of cheap full systems on eBay

Cheap,in England I can't get a yoshi end can for that !

yeah that is pretty cheap actually, and yeah i have a yoshi on my old rocket i didnt know if i wanted to go with a pipe like that or a shorty pipe?
