Hi, I am a new member here and a new rider of my Ninja 250.

I have been getting used to my bike, and I just replaced my front fairing on the bike since a previous owner has broken off a piece while loading it in a trailer.

While working on the body work, I noticed that there is a large space between the two fairings behind the front wheel... things get thrown up in there.
I found that some riders put another piece of fairing there, which they are calling "header covers". I really like the mesh one here:

There is also a v-grille type... almost looks like Transformers:

I would like to buy either of these in black, but cannot seem to find them. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

what kind of things are you riding over to throw up there!
If its just sand and dirt i doubt those covers will solve that just lessen it and make it harder to wash out what gets thru the mesh or vents.
If ur talking looks wise i haven't seen them anywhere but you cud always buy a diff color and paint it or fab up something out of fiberglass shudnt be too hard

or i did see a guy who just filled the gap with mesh if you like the look. He has an album w pics of it on here somewhere

I have only seen these covers come from Indonesia. Hopefully one of our members who live there can help you out with this...
