Am thinking I would like to store a few gallons of eth-free gas. Anyone have experience with doing this? I'd like to know pros and cons. Thanks.

I do. I have a 5 gal. and 2.5 gal. containers that sit in my garage so they will stay as cool as possible. I also use Star Tron Fuel Treatment just in case I don't use it all in a few weeks.

The pros for me is so I don't have to take multiple trips to the gas station. I cut may trips in half. The nearest station that has E-10 free is 27 miles. I use it mainly in the bike and lawn equipment.

Not really much to storing eth-free. Keep your container full to minimize moisture build up, keep it in a cool and dry place, use an approved container and out of direct sunlight. As mentioned above, fuel stabilizer never hurts. You can use cheap stabilizer with eth-free. If cost or availability of real gas is too much to bare, look for an additive called K-100. No, I don't work for or with them (lol) but I have experimented with a lot of additives and it works really well the regular pump gas. It prevents most of the problems that ethanol causes. Hope this helps.

Ethanol-free gas stores better than gas with Ethanol. Add the recommended amount of a gas stabilizer and make sure the gas is in a tightly sealed container or it will lose its volatility.

I have 5 gal (w/stabilizer) here all the time for the generator, yard tools, topping off the cycle, etc.

I'd like to have some on hand at home to not depend on always going to a e-10 free station. Good to know, thanks all for sharing.
