I'm thinking if gutting my muffler and I have the butterfly wide open. Would that make it sound like a straight pipe? I had the muffler off the bike not too long ago and I was running straight pipe but I didn't like. it was too loud for me.

If you just take out the baffle out it will not sound bad, but if you take out the packing and everything it would sound really canny
