Hello there!

Simon here from sunny Brisbane, Australia.

Just joined up to soak up some information from more experienced riders as well as pinch information from the how-to threads. I service my own car and intend to do the same with whatever bike I buy.

I'm an office worker and have been a bike fan for a long time but could never justify the bike. My partner and I are moving along in life and I think it is time I retired the Skyline and grabbed the bike as she has a car and while I enjoy the occasional cruise its not the same with the wind outside the vehicle.

I am pretty newbie and have not bought anything yet but I have been eyeing off the new 250Rs as a starter. My experience is pretty much offroad quads and dirt motorbikes on farm properties so it isn't quite like the road.

Aside from video games, I used to act a bit (ads and theatre) and fitness are my hobbies.

Search box is your friend on all forums. I expect both especially a hard time to get drill in safe habits, my family fear the motorbike. Can't say I blame them with the amount of broken ones and fatalities I have seen in my job.

Also I should add if anyone has questions about Australian and specific state road rules I can give you general advice on liability as they are my specialty.
